PAINLESS FUNDRAISER

It is time for the Long Branch PTA's annual painless fundraiser!

WHAT:  Each fall, the Long Branch PTA holds a "painless fundraiser." Instead of having families go through the time and hassle of selling wrapping paper or other such items, the painless fundraiser asks parents and caregivers to directly donate what they can to support our school. Annually, the painless fundraiser is our PTA's second biggest fundraiser, after the spring auction. 

This year, we are hoping to raise $15,000 through the painless fundraiser, which comes to approximately $40 per student at the school. We, of course, greatly appreciate donations of any size though! 

WHY:  The role of the PTA in supporting our teachers, staff, and students remains as important as ever. The money raised through the painless fundraiser will be used to:

• Provide teachers with stipends to purchase classroom supplies;
• Pay state and national PTA membership dues so that all who attend a Long Branch PTA meeting can have an equal voice;
• Support community-building activities such as Science Night, Spring Fling and Ice Cream Social;
• Maintain teacher and staff morale through staff appreciation activities, 
• Providing funding for field trips. 

HOW:  The best part of this fundraiser is that it is painless for you!  You can donate online or write a check to Long Branch Elementary PTA and drop it off at the school office. 

WHEN:  You are always welcome to donate to the LB PTA when the spirit moves you!  The painless fundraiser, however, will run through the end of October.
