WELCOME!
The Long Branch PTA is committed to building a diverse and engaged community to support our students and teachers. Our PTA's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
GET INVOLVED
Long Branch relies on active parent participation to help our community thrive. We hope that you and your family will stay abreast of our community events and actively participate. We encourage you to donate your time and/or financial contributions to allow us to produce events and provide services that benefits our kids and teachers.
Here is how you can easily get involved:
1. Volunteer. We are seeking volunteers for several positions this year. Contact president@lbpta.org if you are interested in serving as a volunteer.
2. Donate. Make a donation to support the PTA's work this year. We rely on donations to fund PTA events and programs like teacher appreciation activities, stipends for teacher supplies, books for the library, end of year school events for all students, STEM Night, and Spring Fling.

seeking volunteers for pta officers - 2026-2027 school year
We are seeking PTA officers for the 2026-2027 school year.
Volunteer roles are for one-year (renewable for up to four years), but all we need is your one-year commitment!
- President: Serves as the primary spokesperson and sets the meeting agendas (the PTA is required to meet 3 times/year and the exec is required to meet 2 times/year). This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leadership and collaborating with school administration.
- Secretary*: Writes meeting minutes. It is an ideal role for someone who is organized and detail-oriented.
- Treasurer*: Manages the PTA budget, tracks funds, and prepares financial reports. No professional accounting background is required—just basic financial tracking skills.
If you are interested in finding out more and/or serving on the PTA executive board in any position, please email president@lbpta.org or Priscilla Crisologo, a member of the nominating committee by March 20. Other members of the nominating committee are Christine Dufault and Wendy Mastaler.
*Our current secretary and treasurer are willing to stay in their roles, but wanted to open it up to allow for new volunteers to serve if there is interest.
